Seesmic Support for Blackberry Will End - Tech2 ~ Health Knowledge Article

Last week Blackberry and Research in Motion revealed their quarterly earnings which have been percieved as "not amazing". Now Seesmic, a Twitter client for smartphones, desktops and tablets have said that they're going to stop support for Blackberry on June 30th of this year. Seesmic said in an announcement that the reason they're stopping support for the Blackberry OS is to concentrate on their more popular operating systems, namely Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7.

They're killing it

The health of a smartphone company is not only determined by sales, but also the developing community surrounding it. With already shaky numbers and the potential start of 'drops' from the developing community (even though this is the first high profile one), RIM does seem to be sinking. Seesmic seems amused at this almost, when they say that those (Blackberry users) affected by this change should try Seesmic on an Android, iOS or Windows Phone 7 device or their desktop. Basically, move away from Blackberry and buy a new type of device.
